Pop Elastica

We all have experienced pop-up books in our childhood. What if those pop-up elements are curved, generated from bending? This project utilises the "elastica" (minimum bending energy configuration) theory to simulate simple pop-up elements on a flat sheet with consideration of material elastic behaviours. Two grasshopper scripts (.gh) are included: 
* [Pop Elastica-Uniform.gh] simulates pop-up elements made up of uniform strips.
* [Pop Elastica_Non-uniform.gh] simulates pop-up elements made up of non-uniform strips.
